About The Position

JVP Jerusalem is looking for a Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman.

The role will entail serving as the right hand person to the Chairman and include coordinating and overseeing a variety of projects and tasks relating to the fund management, the International Innovation Hubs, and the nonprofit activities both on the educational level as well as around the economic development initiatives.

As the Chief of Staff you will be accompanying the Chairman during high level meetings with diplomats, CEOs of Multinational companies, investors, etc., both in Israel and abroad.

This role requires:

-         A strong understanding of the business world and of the different technology investment fields

-         Native Hebrew and English speaker, with strong writing and verbal skills

-         A good understanding of public- private strategies

-         A high level of discretion


Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Chairman to strategically align time with key priorities, milestones, deadlines, and decisions

*Assess inquiries directed to the Chairman, determine the proper course of action and delegate to the appropriate individual in the organization to manage

*Drive execution of action items agreed upon by the Chairman

*Organize and gather information from various stakeholders and meetings and report that information, along with recommendations to the Chairman to help facilitate efficient decision making

*Execute assignments with a hands-on approach including drafting correspondence from the Chairman and other tasks that facilitate the ability to effectively execute top priorities

* Implement the Chairman’s vision, mission and values, and communicating with departments on behalf of the Chairman

*Work closely with the Chairman to strategize, plan for and develop presentations/materials for internal and external use

*Provide thought leadership and leadership on a variety of cross-functional projects. Using strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills, the Chief of Staff will lead projects and initiatives that cut across multiple departments at all levels

*Provide ad-hoc support on projects small to large; this could include research, leading of internal initiatives, new expansion explorations, event management, and more. Step in where help is most needed- flexibility and willingness to perform varying duties depending on the shifting needs of the firm is important

*Manage the administrative teams

Required Qualifications

* 6+ years of experience working in a Chief or Staff or Executive Assistant role to a business leader

*Excellent English skills- Writing, Reading and speaking

* High level of discretion

*Proactive and hands on approach

*Strong relationship management and communication skills 

*Ability to prioritize and work cross-functionally when managing several simultaneous assignments

*Strong written communication and presentation skills

*Highly organized and reliable, with strong follow up & follow through 

*Solutions oriented, can perceive problems and suggest and implement solutions

* MBA- an advantage
