Jerusalem, Oct. 24th, 2011 – JVP Media Labs welcomed more than seventy entrepreneurs and Web professionals to the JVP Media Quarter on Sunday evening. The gathering, entitled “Future of Online Media,” was hosted in collaboration with the eClub (Hebrew University Entrepreneurs Group) and Capital J (Jerusalem Hi-Tech Community). The event was the first of its kind aiming to promote Jerusalem’s emerging community of entrepreneurs and innovators.

Uri Adoni, Partner at JVP Media Labs, made opening remarks presenting JVP and its objective to strengthen Jerusalem’s entrepreneurial base. After sharing his view on what requirements are necessary to build a successful media startup, Amir Shevat, Head of Developer Relations at Google Israel, discussed the emerging HTML5 standard and Google’s view on the open Web. Oren Nauman, CEO of JVP’s portfolio company AnyClip, then presented his view on new trends and technologies which could change the way we consume video online.

The event began and ended with energetic networking sessions, in which JVP partners participated.
