Cogent Communications Group, Inc. will list its common stock on the Exchange today under the ticker symbol COI.
Cogent Communications Group, Inc. is a next generation optical Internet service provider focused on delivering ultra high-speed Internet access and transport services to businesses within the multi-tenant marketplace and to service providers located in major metropolitan areas throughout the U.S. The facilities-based ISP currently has a presence in twenty major metropolitan markets and focuses primarily on providing Cogent's signature service of 100 Mbps for $1,000, equating to 100 times the observed bandwith of T-1 connection at up to two-thirds of the cost.
