150 Children Hosted at JVP Media Quarter from Jerusalem’s Underserved Neighborhoods
JVP Media Quarter companies rallied together to host 150 children-at-risk for a fun-filled outing during their Hanukah school vacation
The children participate in “JVP Bakehila” (In the Community) learning centers, run by staff and 44 year-of-service volunteers. They were bussed to the JVP Media Quarter where their eyes were opened to the world of avatars, animation and live video games during demonstrations from JVP portfolio companies, Qlipso, Double Fusion, AnyClip and Animation Lab. Afterwards, 60 JVP company employees volunteered their time and energy in the preparation and serving of a hot lunch to the excited children. For many of them it was the first time they could explore the Old Train Station where JVP is located and the first time they were exposed to the idea of start-ups and media companies.
