Haim Kopans, Venture Partner and CTO
Haim is one of the foremost experts in the field of database and business process technologies in the world today. Founder and former CTO of Precise! Software Solutions, a JVP portfolio company and a provider of business and e-commerce application performance management solutions, Haim assisted in growing Precise from its founding in 1990 through a successful IPO in 2000. In 2003, Precise was acquired by Veritas for $609 million (then NASDAQ: VRTS). With vast experience and contacts in the fields of enterprise software, storage, data and content management, and security technologies, Haim is an invaluable resource for JVP's current portfolio and investment team, providing thought leadership and resources for business development. Haim is a board member of JVP's portfolio companies Qlipso, Navajo, Leadspace and Zettapoint. Before joining Precise, Haim was a consultant with SCP Systems, and a systems analyst for the Israeli Defense Forces. With over 20 years of high-tech experience, Haim's reputation and in-depth knowledge of the sector helped to make Precise an industry leader. In his capacity as venture partner, Haim is instrumental in finding and evaluating new investments within his areas of expertise, as well as providing guidance to JVP and its entire portfolio. Haim served as a board member of Zoomix, a JVP portfolio company, which was aquired by Microsoft in July 2008. Haim holds a BA in Economics and Computer Science from Bar Ilan University, and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.


Uri Adoni, Venture Partner, Partner of JVP Media Labs

Uri joined JVP and Animation Lab with extensive experience in internet and new media, gleaned from his prior position as the CEO of MSN Israel. During the nearly ten years Uri has been one of the new media pioneers who saw the many stages that internet, mobile and TV went through. Working for Microsoft during these fascinating times, Uri was also part of some major international marketing and business challenges in fields such as search engines vs. Google, instant messaging vs. AOL and Yahoo and many other challenges. Prior to his work at Microsoft, Uri was a partner and a co-CEO at Geller-Nessis Leo Burnett Advertising Agency, working with leading brands such as Coca Cola, Procter & Gamble, Nokia, Philips and Energizer. Prior to that, he was a senior strategic planner at Fogel-Levin / Ogilvy Israel, working with brands such as IBM, Unilever, Adidas, Philip Morris and others. In both companies he was highly involved in the creative process, working closely together with the creative teams, directors, editors and production houses. His vast experience in advertising and strategic planning, gave him the position of an "evangelist" in the fast growing online advertising market. Uri is a board member of, Celltick, IgnitAd, MegaLearning and Qlipso. Uri holds a BA in political science from Tel Aviv University, a professional music degree from the Rimon School of Music, and an MBA from Manchester University.


Yoav Tzruya,Venture Partner, Partner of JVP Media Labs

Yoav brings strong background and industry recognition in the fields of digital media, content services, telecom value-added services and business support systems. Prior to joining JVP Yoav headed Altus Media Ltd., a venture capital consulting business, providing business, strategy and operational support for VCs and digital media and content related startups, including JVP portfolio companies. Prior to Altus Media, Yoav spent five years as General Manager/COO and CMO of Exent Technologies, leading its strategy, business and operations, positioning it as an industry leader in the spaceofvideo games digital distribution, growing the business 70% Y-over-Yearfive years in a row. In this capacity Yoavwas instrumental in building new offerings and revenue streams for industry leaders such as Verizon, Comcast, Intel, CBS, Time Warner and France Telecom.Previously, Yoav spent five years with TeleKnowledge, an innovator in the space of business support systems, holding multiple executive level positions, including Product Management, Marketing and Business Development, helping define telecom value-added services and digital media strategies for the likes of Telefonica, Yahoo, Listen.com (Real Networks), Turbine Entertainment, FullAudio (AOL), StarMedia, TheStreet.com and others. Yoav further spent six years in the Israeli Air-Force, managing mission critical development projects, and is a decorated officer. Yoav holds an International Executive MBA from Kellogg/Northwestern and Tel-Aviv University, as well as a M.Sc. in Computer Science (cum laude) and a B.Sc. in Mathematics (cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University.


Roostam Tiger, Associate

Roostam brings to JVP an extensive technological background and strong familiarity with Israeli entrepreneurial industry. As an independent consultant he led various corporate development efforts for tier 1 companies and VCs, shaping and executing their investment and M&A strategies. In addition, Roostam helped various early-stage technological startups in defining their products and developing their business strategies. Roostam further initiated and led several non-profit organizations promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in Israel. In the past, Roostam held leading technological positions, including Program Manager at Microsoft, Researcher at IBM and Software Team Leader at EZChip, and served as an independent consultant in the field of complex Software projects for companies like Microsoft. Roostam holds a BSc in Computer Sciences with highest honors from Technion, has completed work towards an MSc in Computer Sciences at Technion and holds numerous recognitions of excellence throughout his academic studies.
